Program Registration

Adults in this class will read, write about, and explore Black and African American experiences in the U.S. through poetry.  Writing exercises will encourage creativity and reflection. Students will support each other through intentional listening and focused feedback.  The book for this summer class will be Amanda Gorman’s 2021 book of poetry, Call Us What We Carry. Books are provided free of charge from Vermont Humanities Council.  Thursdays 1:30 - 3:30 In person.   Instructors: Melissa Lang & Peter Burns.
